    When awake, muscles and posture hold the airway open.  There is no obstruction, breathing is unrestricted and quiet.

     

    When sleeping, muscles relax and the airway becomes obstructed.  Breathing is laboured and noisy.

    "Hi Elizabeth,  I have to let you know, that I think your product is simply marvellous ... AS soon as my partner put the mouth guard on, (after following the instructions) and hit the pillow, - IT was the quietest moments, Ive ever experienced by his side... such a blessing... He cant beleive how much better he feels everyday too, his breathing stopped being erratic, and the snoring stopped!!!  my god, it was sooo loud, and sounded painful, for him with all this gasping.., let alone me witnessing such a distressing sleep... but now sleeping so well - cant beleive such an instant difference ..    I can finally sleep.. and he knows the benefits he feels, with getting more oxygen, so he has put the mouthguard on himself everynight since it first arrived, ... its great.   THANK YOU sincerely..
